Chiropractic # 101

Chiropractic is a science, an art and an empowering philosophy.

Our core belief is: The body is intelligent and is continuously monitoring, adapting, and regulating itself against ever changing external and internal challenges to maintain a state of health.

The brain with the nervous system is the master system of the body.

Its function is to regulate every cell, tissue, organ, and the other systems such as respiratory, cardiovascular, digestive, endocrine, and reproductive systems.

The nervous system is the information highway. Afferent and efferent biological messages travel from cell to brain and back at the speed of life.

The Central Nervous System (brain and spinal cord) is so critical for health and well being that it is the only structure that nature has encased in solid bones for protection.

Any of the 24 vertebrae of the spine when stressed sufficiently may subluxate ( misalign) thereby creating nerve flow malfunction. Over time this will lead to a loss of health and a variety of common human illnesses.

I have been a patient of Dr. Nathaniel for close to 14 years. I find him to be a personable, caring and extremely professional individual. Over the years I have required varying degrees of treatment, from severe to minor back problems. In all cases Dr. Nathaniel has provided the necessary solution to whatever the problem was to the point that today I’m virtually free of any significant back ailments. It would have been easy, at that point, to stop seeing Dr. Nathaniel, as many people do, but I see him on a regular basis, every 4 weeks on what I call my maintenance program. This does two things:- a) it keeps my spine limber and in good shape and b) it cements the relationship we have to the point that if I do encounter a major problem Dr. Nathaniel knows who and what he is dealing with. I have no hesitation in recommending Dr. Nathaniel to anyone in need of chiropractic care.
    Yours sincerely John Sey
